WHAT IS DTS?
Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a training school for missions through Youth With A Mission. The school runs for six months, and can change your life forever! During these months you will get tools to get to know God and opportunities to make Him known in Norway and the nations.
By doing a DTS you will be equipped to become a missionary no matter where you are. You will get to know yourself better, discover your passions and see how everything you have fits into Gods plan and kingdom. You will get to know students from all over the world, and gain new perspectives and insight through teaching, conversations and experiences with other students.
All of the DTSs in Norway have for the most part the same framework and content. The schools start with a lecture phase which lasts for at least twelve weeks. During these weeks different teachers from all over the world come to teach on a new subject each week. What follows after these twelve weeks of lecture phase is a mission trip, that we call outreach, to other countries. Outreach usually lasts from eight to ten weeks.
